We operate as a home kitchen cooking in small batches to preserve flavor and freshness. We do not use preservatives or pre-packaged ingredients.

Call Arun directly at 301-332-9667. Let us know what you want and your preferred pickup time. We recommend calling at least 1-2 hours in advance.

We prepare your order right before you arrive so it's piping hot. Pick it up from our home kitchen and enjoy the authentic taste of Nepal!

Founded by Arun and Mina, Himalayan HomeFoods is dedicated to bringing the cozy, authentic flavors of high-altitude home kitchens straight to your neighborhood.

In traditional Nepali mountain homes, the kitchen ("chulo") is the sacred heart of the household. It is where fires burn slow, spices like jimbu, timur, and fenugreek are ground by hand on stone slabs, and family gatherings are warmed by steaming platters of fresh food.

We honor these culinary roots by making everything from scratch. From the perfect folding of our momos to the careful fermentation of our seasonal achars, we bring you food that is honest, wholesome, and bursting with the real taste of home.
